Natural Tours in Rincón de la Vieja Guanacaste
The Oropéndola waterfall is a verry impressive 82 feet high natural shower. The emerald green water invites for a refreshing dive. The waterfall is located in a beautiful vegetated canyon which beauty you’ll enjoy.
To get at the waterfall we have two options:
Horseback riding: From the hotel we take a scenic trail by horse. At the end of the trail we have a short walk to get to the canyon. Although the last part of the trail is easy, it can’t be done by horse. At the waterfall we have a longer break before returning to the Hacienda.
Prices: USD$35.00 adults / USD$25.00 children.
Hiking: For this option there are two possibilities:
- Leaving the hotel by bus to the parking lot of the national park where we start walking to the waterfall, returning by foot to the parking lot and the waiting bus.
- We take the forest trail from the hotel and walk all the way to the waterfall.
