The menu has been designed not only to be varied but is also a tribute to traditional Costa Rica gastronomy and cooking traditions. It is also the perfect dining sport after a day of adventure that has worked up an appetite!
La Hacienda is the gastronomical hub for guests at the hotel and thrill-seekers visiting the Guachipelín adventure center. The generous buffet and a la carte menu cater to all diners offering an enormous variety of dishes. The flavors of Costa Rican cuisine shine through with every bite. Nekajui Garden
Nekajui comes from the Chorotega dialect and means garden. The Chorotega first peoples settled and ruled the Nicoya Peninsula for centuries and had a symbiotic relationship with nature. So, in their honor, this unique corner with four firepits, an old clay oven, and an open-air concept has been called Nekajui Garden.
This eatery in the Hacienda´s original garden filled with tropical monsteras and shady trees is the perfect place to relax, sip on a refreshing and colorful cocktail, and nibble on a signature pizza or fresh fish ceviche. This is where stories of the day´s adventures of the thrills of the zipline or the tube ride down the river are shared around the firepit.
