Stay at our Hacienda

Stay in the pristine surrounds of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park in a world heritage listed natural wonderland. This region was largely untouched by mass building and deforestation and Hacienda Guachipelin has the privilege of being one of the few businesses open to the public. We are a unique holiday destination with so much that is waiting to be discovered by you.

Home of a great number of the world’s biodiversity, every element of the forest at Hacienda Guachipelin works together in a remarkable way. It is in our business ethic to have respect for every insect, flower, tree, and animal on our property by ensuring a minimal impact on the natural environment. We take every effort to reduce our effect on the environment, including waste, pollution, and noise. Spring water supplies the entire resort with fresh water that is completely safe to drink and has a fantastic sweet taste. The personal cleaning products that we supply are non-toxic, biodegradable, and free of petrochemicals or phosphates. And our entire Hacienda is run on power generated by hydro and geothermal electricity. This is your chance to escape into pristine nature in our private hideaway in the middle of a tropical reserve.

Visit our Hacienda to enjoy the wildlife and the beautiful vistas that Guanacaste has to offer. The Rincon de la Vieja National Park protects thousands of acres of some of Central America’s last remaining tropical dry forest. Our 79 rooms and suites are located in the heart of our 3,460-acre reserve in the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. The rooms are screened in and designed to give you a rustic yet sumptuous experience. In each, you’ll find an appreciation for the sounds, sights, and smells of Guanacaste.

We strike a great balance between high-standard accommodation and being right in the middle of nature. Our guests feel like they are staying deep in the jungle, surrounded by wildlife, yet with all of the comforts of home. In this immersive destination, the real luxury is living and breathing the jungle.
