The Las Chorreras Waterfall is located just 1.5 km from Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. Traverse picturesque forest trails for approximately 30 minutes to reach this magnificent waterfall, delighting in the fascinating landscape of a dry tropical forest and admiring the diverse wildlife you’ll encounter along the way. You’ll have ample time to relax at the waterfall before making your way back to the hotel.

Surrounded by dense dry tropical forest, the Río Negro Hot Springs are situated in a beautiful and peaceful area. The crystal-clear waters of the river flow close to the 10 pools along the riverbank, filled with mineral-rich thermal waters naturally heated deep within the volcano. You can access the hot springs from both sides of the river via two hanging bridges. Tempered volcanic mud is available for a full-body “mud mask” experience. After the mud dries, you can rinse it off in the cool river water before reentering the hot springs.

At the entrance of the hot springs, there are changing rooms, restrooms, and lockers. From there, you will walk 350 meters through a beautiful forest trail until you reach the hot springs.
