The beautiful Simbiosis Spa has reopened at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
All facilities have been refurbished to give a full-service, luxury spa experience to guests, making their stay at Hacienda Guachipelin even more special.
Scenically set amid the Guanacaste dry tropical forest along the banks of the bubbling Colorado River, Simbiosis Spa occupies a cozy, intimate space that lets you feel the peace and healing energy of pure nature.
The spa features three outdoor pools of thermo-mineral water that comes straight from volcanic springs, a wood-heated sauna, and facilities for massages and spa treatments in the incredible countryside setting. Relax with warm, healing mud baths, provided naturally by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Spa treatments include massages, wraps, facials, and reflexology, among others.
The spa encompasses four handcrafted wood pavilions, with river stone details, and large windows that bring the outdoor world inside. Natural walkways connect the different areas. A beautiful reception area houses dressing rooms and a bar area that serves drinks and healthy snacks.
Lovely trails meander through the surrounding forest and by the river, with well-placed areas to relax and experience the peace of nature. There is a fire pit and sun and shade lounge areas by the pools.
Simbiosis Spa is a more exclusive spa experience that complements Hacienda Guachipelin’s nearby popular Rio Negro Hot Springs.
